ITINERARY
DAY 1 - ARRIVAL
For those arriving by air, enjoy a brief 40-minute scenic flight from Vancouver International Airport's South Terminal to Tofino. During the flight, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the impressive west coast scenery. Once you land at Tofino airport, your guide will greet you and help with your luggage before a ~15 minute transfer to the lodge. If you're arriving by car, please plan to arrive no earlier than 14:00. Should you arrive early, feel free to enjoy a meal in the main lodge or unwind with a cocktail at the Sandbar Bistro. Upon reaching the lodge, you will receive a detailed orientation covering the lodge, its amenities and upcoming adventures. Check-in to your room begins at 16:00, and each evening a three-course dinner is served at 19:00.
DAY 2 - SURFING & HIKING
This morning we will welcome you to the Pacific with the option to learn to surf with a friendly local Surf Instructor. Whether you’re a beginner surfer or you’ve been surfing for years our year round waves at Cox Bay is a great spot for beginner and intermediate surfers to have fun and improve their skills. If you aren't up for a surf, we also can provide paddle boarding or have alternative options such as yoga or relaxation before heading out on the trail this afternoon. After lunch, we will head to the Pacific Rim Coast Trail; which is considered one of the premier day hikes in Tofino and Ucluelet. We will immerse ourselves in the coastal temperate rainforest and discover the rich natural history of Vancouver Island's west coast. After this day of adventure, you may enjoy a healing massage or just rest before dinner.
DAY 3 - WILDLIFE VIEWING & HOT SPRINGS
Today we'll take to our bikes for a scenic ride along the beaches of the Esowista Peninsula and into the village of Tofino. After a visit of some of the local shops and cafes, we will embark by boat and cruise into the deep fjords of Clayoquot Sound UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in search of black bears, sea otters, whales, eagles and seals. Eventually we will make our way to Hot Springs Cove to take part in our de-stressing ritual and connect with nature, relax your mind, body and soul and relax in the geothermal hot pools. We'll return to the lodge in the late afternoon with enough time for a siesta, a beach stroll or a soak in the spa before another great dinner.
DAY 4 - HELI-HIKING OR FLY FISHING
If you are interested in our 5 day package extension, be prepared for one of the best days of alpine hiking on Vancouver Island that you can imagine, starting with a stunning helicopter sightseeing tour! With little effort you'll be transported by helicopter up over the coastal rainforests and into the high peaks of the Vancouver Island Alps. If you prefer fishing, you can choose to head to the alpine rivers instead and fish for trout.
DAY 5 - DEPARTURE
Check-out is at 11:00. If you are flying back to Vancouver with Pacific Coastal Airlines, take advantage of a leisurely morning in which you can enjoy the lodge property, make use of the spa and gym, play some lawn games, or simply relax before taking our shuttle back to the Tofino Airport for the flight back to Vancouver. If you are departing on foot by ferry, we will arrange to drive you to the BC Ferries Terminal in time for your sailing. If you are driving home, our generous hospitality team will pack you a lunch, if you would like, before wishing you the best and helping you on your way.

However, if you specifically request your own rooms, you can opt to pay the single supplement. Solo travellers who book within 90 days of departure, where there are no other solo travellers willing to share, will be required to pay the single supplement. For Family Vacation bookings, families consisting of four guests traveling with children aged 18 and under will be automatically assigned one shared room. However, the following alternative rooming allocations are available: Families consisting of four guests with all children aged 13 and above are welcome to opt for additional rooms as per advertised double occupancy adult rates. Families consisting of four guests with at least one child aged 12 and under are automatically assigned a shared room. However, families can opt to pay the adult rates for all guests in their family to have an additional room. The same principles apply for families consisting of more than four guests. Rooming preferences are subject to availability and must be communicated in writing at time of booking. Automatic assignments as per this policy will be applied in the absence of any specification provided by guests. Any request for additional rooms during trips will be at guests’ own expense and subject to rates made available by the accommodation provider at the time.
