Local Guides

Make the most of your time in Tofino and the surrounding area with our local guides. As certified professionals, we are experts in wildlife management, in local weather conditions and terrain. In addition to keeping you safe, each guide is passionate about sharing their intimate knowledge of this landscape with you.

Private Adventures

A private adventure means you go with your friends, your family, your colleagues or on your own and at your own pace. No matter how long you want to hike or what you want to see, we will provide an exclusive hiking experience. Our adventures have been designed to showcase the natural beauty of the surrounding area and can be customized to perfectly suit your wants and needs.

Our Mission

With increasing numbers of people engaging in wilderness activities, pristine and fragile coastal and mountain environments will suffer rising impacts. As a professional user who benefits from these areas, our company and guides will make extra effort to minimize impacts, will set an example for other visitors and instruct our guests how to reduce impact. Our guides are stewards of the environment as a profession and assist local ENGOs with ongoing initiatives. We hope that this will help ensure that our local ecosystem will remain relatively unchanged for the future.

Long Beach Nature would like to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we operate, the Tla-o-qui-aht Nation and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We would like to extend that respect to the Ahousaht, Hesquiaht to the north and the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ, Huu-ay-aht to the south and all the First Nations of the region.
