It is a popular destination among visitors and locals alike which serves as a relaxing and healing nature experience; now ingrained into Tofino's cultural fabric. Take part in our de-stressing ritual and connect with nature, relax your mind, body and soul. Slow down, walk quietly, take your time and listen to the birds along the rainforest trail, relax in the geothermal hot pools, cool down with a cold water ocean plunge and repeat.

ARRIVAL TIME

Please arrive at our office 30 minutes prior to get fitted with our outerwear before heading out on the tour. Our office location will be provided to you in your tour confirmation email.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Activity Rating: LIGHT Travelers should be in good health and comfortable sitting in an open boat for extended periods of time. Given the dynamic nature of sea conditions and the rapid fluctuations in daily weather forecasts, you should be prepared for a variety of conditions. You will need enough mobility to get in and out of a boat and walk comfortably for 30 min - 1 hour. *Hot Springs Cove - Exercise caution at all times and move slowly and deliberately when entering and exiting the natural geothermal pools in Maquinna Provincial Park. The terrain is uneven, rocky and slippery. Rocks can shift underfoot, leading to falls, sprains, or other injuries. We highly recommend that you have water shoes or sandals with excellent grip instead of attempting bare feet. The water is also very hot so please be mindful of the time spent within the pools and be sure to stay hydrated. Wildlife Sightings While we can't guarantee specific animal sightings during our trip through Clayoquot Sound, it's important to remember that each day in nature is a unique and awe-inspiring experience. In this region live a healthy population of sea otters, seal lions, bald eagles and grey whales which we can sometimes come across during a trip. Fingers crossed we may find some fun critters along the way!
