5040 PEAK & THE COBALT LAKE TRAIL
Your endurance will reward you with breathtaking views of some of the highest mountains in the region while hiking this trail. Following the main divide of Vancouver Island, 5040 Peak and Cobalt Lake is one of our favourite alpine day hikes and well away from the main tourist walking trails. Why hike the the Cobalt Lake Trail with a guide? Our professional ACMG hiking guides are here to keep you safe and share their knowledge of the area with you. We also provide transportation to and from the trail head, as well as a gourmet picnic lunch to enjoy while taking in the views! This day hike can also be turned into a multi-day hike by spending a night in the alpine hut located at the summit. If this might be of interest click here.
