Marianne Paquette

Marianne grew up in Montreal but decided to move to the West Coast in the spring of 2016 after finishing her Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences and communications. She is deeply passionate about the ocean, nature and wildlife and loves sharing her knowledge of the area with people in the hopes of inspiring stewardship of this amazing place she now calls home. From barnacles to black bears, from salal bushes to western red cedar, she is fascinated by it all. When she is not guiding, Marianne can be found exploring the area by kayak, splashing around trying to catch a wave, or listening to podcasts while taking care of her garden.
