Mike Carroll

Mike Carroll is an avid adventurist and fly fishing enthusiast. His addiction with freshwater fly fishing began in his late teens when he became fascinated with what swam below the thin blue line. He spends most of his free time researching and exploring the rivers and lakes of Vancouver Island. Mike's curiosity in the mysterious lives of coastal trout and salmon sparked an interest in the conservation and protection of freshwater fish and habitat. He volunteers on the Board of Directors for the British Columbia Fly Fishing Federation as a Communications Coordinator and activist. Crafting his own handmade flies, Mike is dedicated to creating an authentic experience in some of the most spectacular ecosystems on the coast.
