Skookum John

Skookum has spent over 40 years on and around the waters of Clayoquot Sound.  As an Ahousaht Nation member, he offers a cultural perspective of the region and its flora and fauna and raises awareness of the challenges they are facing from industry and climate change. Skookum lives off grid on a small island in the region with his wife, 4 dogs, a cat, 2 bunnies and flock of chickens, in a one room cabin built by his late parents.
