Long Beach Nature Tours is proud to partner with the Huu-ay-aht First Nation to bring visitors from Tofino & Ucluelet to Kiix̣in National Historic Site on the southern coastline of Barkley Sound. Kiixin is the only known traditional First Nations village remaining on the west coast of southern British Columbia, with significant standing house remains. Visitors are invited to hike the trail to Kiix̣in, while exploring Vancouver Island’s pristine rainforest and beautiful beaches. Along the way, guests will learn much of Huu-ay-aht’s knowledge and history, as well as Indigenous culture in the region.
